Data deletion

You can delete your MD account and all your data yourself, at any time, in a few clicks. You can also remove MD’s access to a social account without deleting anything.
1. Delete your MD account and data
- Sign in, open Settings → Legal & account → Delete my account.
- Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
- Straight away we permanently delete your posts and drafts, uploaded media, connected-account tokens, brands, analytics, AI conversations, activity history, plan and settings.
- Before deleting you can download everything with Download my data in the same place.
We keep, without your other details: a record that you accepted the Terms (a pseudonymous ID, the version, the time and the network address it came from) and a one-line note that the account was deleted. We keep these for up to three years to be able to answer legal claims, and longer only if a claim is pending or the law requires it. Copies in backups disappear as backups are rotated.
2. Remove MD’s access to a social account (without deleting your MD account)
- In MD: Connections → the account → Disconnect. MD stops using that connection and deletes the stored token.
- On the platform: remove MD from the apps allowed on your account — Facebook/Instagram (Settings → Apps and Websites / Business Integrations), TikTok (Settings → Security and permissions → Apps and services), Google/YouTube (myaccount.google.com/permissions), LinkedIn (Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services) and Pinterest (Settings → Apps). This revokes access completely, even if you cannot sign in to MD.
Posts already published on a platform stay there; MD cannot delete them for you once they are live — delete them on the platform.
3. If you cannot sign in
Ask us to delete your data: use the support option in MD. We may ask you to prove the account is yours before acting. We answer within one month.
