Content Rules & Your Responsibility

Version of 29 September 2026

You are the publisher. MD prepares drafts; the AI only suggests; nothing goes out until you approve it. That approval step exists so that you stay in control — and it is also why you, and not MD, are legally responsible for everything you approve and publish.

1. How MD is built around your approval

  • Posts you write, posts the AI suggests and posts generated for you all start as drafts or “waiting for approval”. They are only sent to a platform after you approve them, or after you schedule them yourself.
  • “Approve all” approves every post that is waiting. By using it you confirm you have reviewed each of them. Use it only when you have.
  • Posts written by MD Autopilot (a whole month at a time) are exactly the same: drafts waiting for you. They are only sent after you approve them, one by one or with "Approve all ready" - which you should use only after you have read them. Autopilot flags posts that still need a picture or a detail from you and leaves them out of "Approve all ready".
  • Scheduling a post is approving it for the time you set. You can cancel it before it is sent; once a platform has published it, taking it down is done on that platform.
  • We record each approval (which post, when, from which account) so it can be shown that the account owner approved it.

2. What you confirm every time you publish

  • It is yours to post: you wrote it or hold the rights to every text, image, video, sound, font, logo and name in it. Copying other people’s work, using music without a licence, or using someone’s photo without permission is your responsibility.
  • It is lawful where it is read: no defamation, threats, hate, harassment, incitement, unlawful discrimination, terrorist or extremist material, child sexual content, non-consensual intimate images, or content that breaks the law of your country or your audience’s.
  • It is honest: no scams, fake giveaways, fake reviews, misleading health, financial or “get rich” claims, impersonation, or content designed to deceive.
  • It is labelled where required: advertising, paid partnerships, affiliate links and gifted products must be disclosed as your local law and the platform demand (for example #ad or the platform’s paid-partnership tool). Content that is AI-generated or digitally altered and could be mistaken for real must be labelled as the law and the platform require.
  • It respects other people: you have permission from people who are identifiable in it, and you do not publish private information about anyone. Do not target children.
  • It follows the platform’s own rules, including community guidelines, branded-content policies, contest and giveaway rules, and posting limits.
  • Regulated topics (health, medicine, finance and investment, gambling, alcohol, tobacco and vaping, weapons, elections and politics, adult content) are your responsibility to check against the rules that apply to you. MD gives no advice on them.

3. AI-written content

AI can produce text that is wrong, unfair, similar to something that already exists, or that makes claims that cannot be proved. It also does not know your local rules. Read every AI-written post as if a stranger had handed it to you. If you approve it, it is your post.

4. What MD and the Operator are not responsible for

  • What you publish, and what happens because of it: claims, complaints, takedowns, penalties, lost accounts, lost reach, lost income, or legal costs.
  • What platforms decide: removing content, limiting reach, disabling monetisation, or suspending or closing your account.
  • Whether a post reaches anyone. Platforms decide that, not MD.

The Terms of Service (sections 4, 12, 13 and 14) set out the legal effect of this in full.

5. What is not allowed on MD

You may not use MD to publish or prepare content that breaks section 2, to run spam or fake-engagement schemes, to publish for accounts you are not authorised to manage, to harass anyone, to spread malware or phishing, or to evade a platform’s enforcement. Using AI features to produce such content is equally prohibited.

6. What we may do about it

We may cancel queued posts, refuse to send a post, suspend or close an account, and pass information to a platform or an authority where required or permitted by law. We do not check posts before they go out, so the absence of action does not mean a post is acceptable.

7. Reporting

If you see content that was published through MD and that you believe is illegal or breaks these rules, tell us: through the support option in Settings. Say what and where it is and why you think it is a problem. We will look at it promptly and act where it is right to do so. To have a post taken down, you can also report it on the platform where it is published.
